Run Test Records
Populate Test Workbook with Values Aligned to the
Field Mapping Workbook
Running test cases through the primary CRM Integra on program is extremely
important. If this program is not working to spec, records may not get updated or
created in CRM. There is also the possibility records could make their way into CRM
with dirty data, depending on the needs of the Integra on.
Upload test records and follow upload cadence specified in Test Workbook. Insert
these records into the 000. Enter step in the main Integra on program.
Create a form and submit this form from a browser that has cookies cleared.
Ensure the test submission creates a linked visitor profile.
Use Contact record with linked profile to test Ac vi es
(for CRMs that support Ac vi es).
Inbound test records
During the build phase, test files with dummy data should have been provided. It is
recommended these tests be verified on the way into Eloqua from the SFTP server.
This step is only necessary if an outbound program is being used for the SFTP
Export files. Otherwise, it can be ignored.
