How To #3:
Integrating Google Analytics with Eloqua
D. Eloqua Tracking
Eloqua has its own tracking script that should be deployed on your main
website. This script does not need to be deployed on your Eloqua landing
pages. By virtue of the Eloqua tracking script being present on your website,
Eloqua will also collect query string parameters for website visitors, including
but not limited to UTM parameters. These values will then be available in
Insight for repor ng purposes.
UTM
Best Prac ces
1. When you tag your campaign links with UTMs, try to make
sure the data you're sending to Google Analy cs is easy to
understand in your reports. You want to use terms that are
descrip ve and easy for your team members to understand.
2. Stay consistent with your naming conven on, especially for
Source and Medium. Use a spreadsheet to keep track of
various campaign names.
3. To see the results, go at Acquisi on -> Campaigns or
download and install a custom Campaign Report for GA.
