Integrating Google Analytics with your Website
Instruc ons for Manual Website Integra on:
1. Login to Google Analy cs & click Admin.
2. In the Property column for the main website (not Eloqua), click Tracking
Info -> Tracking Code.
3. Copy the Tracking Code Snippet in its en rety.
4. Paste the snippet into the
tag of your website template, so that it
appears on all pages of your website.
5. Test it installed correctly: In one browser window, navigate to your
website. Then, in Google Analy cs go to Real-Time Reports -> Overview
and see if there is traffic.
• There are several ways to add GA
Tracking to your website.
• Depending on your CMS/website
pla orm, there may be a field to
add your tracking ID, or an area
to add the script. Simply Google
Search
"[Your CMS/Pla orm] Google
Analy cs Integra on".
• Google Tag Manager and other tag
manager systems will allow you to
add the script to your site.
• Manual integra on, if all other
methods aren't available.
